Iva Biščanić

I’m currently employed on the position of ICT projects consultant – Project manager in the second biggest telecom operator in country (VIPnet, part of the Telecom Austria Group). I'm responsible for all the projects in the sector of digital transformation and innovation. Currently I'm working with my team on development of two mobile applications; 1) Mobile application for hospitality sector – smart hotel application, 2) Mobile application for public transportation. I work over 7 years in app development and digital product ecosystem, innovation and entrepreneurship. Also, I work as expert evaluator for European commission for European SME Innovation Research and Development programme. Also, during my career I have won 3 awards on European level for innovative project that I've been working on. Also, I was one of the scholars for scholarships of United States of America – U.S. Department Professional Fellowship - „Tech Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Education Fellowship program, Chicago (United States)“ where I was working in the one of the biggest tech startup and innovation incubator in Chicago – 1871. Currently, as an alumni I volunteer with tech scene in my country with the aim in developing initiatives in the startup and innovation field and promotion of understanding and development of quality relationships between the USA and Croatian startup community. I work a lot with promotion on women entrepreneurship and professional development in ICT sector.
